The successful candidate must be able to effectively interact with clients, management, and fellow team members from federal sector. In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for communicating and training stakeholders; must be able to identify business requirements & understand and identify training needs, and must have experience in the following:
Planning, evaluating, directing, tracking, and coordinating multiple projects using Microsoft Project Professional 2010/2013
Overseeing the deployment and implementation of technical solutions using Project Management tools, ultimately following lifecycle framework, or SDLC
Executing complex technical tasks, providing technical direction to support staff, and interfacing with Government and/or commercial contractor personnel
Duties include but are not limited to:
Support and coordinate individual and group-based Project Management training programs.
Create, review and update applicable project plans, training documents and artifacts.
Work closely, communicating and training government customer on Microsoft Project, toolsandstandard methodologies.
Develop and execute Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) based documentation in accordance with industry best practices and Project Management Institute (PMI®) standards.
Facilitate or support planning sessions to build consensus among project team members regarding task definitions, sequencing and interrelationships within the project.
Develop and track project schedule performance criteria to include Earned Value (EV) metrics using the full capabilities of Microsoft® Project.
Prepare and deliver project reports, customized dashboards, consolidated schedules and presentations for program and project status meetings.
Bachelor's Degree from accredited college in Business, Information Systems, Public Health or related disciplines
Minimum of 6-8 years’ experience as a Project Manager
Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Project Professional 2010/2013, SharePoint 2013 and Visio
Excellent communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience working in federal sector performing project management activities with large scale healthcare or government implementation efforts
Experience leading training initiatives, preferably in Healthcare industry
Expertise in eLearning training development methodologies
Proficient in the application and use of voice over audio production and screen recording & video editing software tools such as Audacity and Camtasia
Microsoft certification, e.g. MCP, MCTS or related
