HGL (HydroGeoLogic, Inc.), is an Engineering News-Record (ENR) Top 200 environmental firm specializing in environmental science, engineering, construction and munitions response services. The company has more than 30 years of experience providing environmental remediation solutions to federal, state, local, and private sector clients. Currently HGL has a position open for a Contracts/Subcontracts Administrator.
Will work directly with HGL’s Contracts team, Project Managers and Subcontractor/vendor personnel issuing and managing subcontracts as well as providing cost proposal support and collaboration on purchase orders.
Responsibilities / Duties
Responsibilities involve both contracts and subcontracts administration, including supporting administration of all types of Government contracts. Other tasks include: procuring subcontractors by issuing Invitations to Bid and RFPs; drafting, negotiating, issuing and administering subcontracts, including complex performance based and construction type subcontracts; managing and negotiating subcontract changes; assisting with development of supporting documentation for cost proposals submitted to the Government/prime contractors, as well as other government contracts reporting and compliance efforts. Flexibility with schedule and willingness to perform a wide variety of tasks is required.
The successful candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be detail-oriented and able to multi-task effectively, as well as being someone who can work efficiently in a self-directed, fast paced environment and collaboratively within a team.
Computer proficiency with demonstrated skills in MS Office including Excel, Word and Adobe Acrobat skills required.
Must have a minimum of 3 years of related experience with a Federal Contractor in addition to a degree or 8+ years of related experience with a Federal Contractor without a degree.
A BA/BS degree in contracts, finance, accounting, or business concentration is strongly preferred OR an AA or HS diploma and 8+ years of related experience with a Federal Contractor.
