Exceptional opportunity for individual to coordinate all details to implement successful implementation of projects, education and research related to the healthcare field. Individual will identify funding sources and assist in securing grants and funds to support initiatives. They will participate in the development of proposals for new research, including preparation of budgets and narratives. Will also manage day-to-day implementation of research projects and coordinates the development of studies on identified issues, design of instruments, collection and analysis of data and preparation of progress and final reports. Shall provide technical assistance to community agencies and hospitals on development of programs, events and written materials. The individual will work with staff as well as healthcare and educational organizations to coordinate statewide conferences, regional training and educational public awareness campaigns including development of brochures notices and media advisories. Position requires a minimum of Master’s degree or equivalent experience in healthcare, policy or research. Must have at least two years of experience in project design, implementation/coordination, survey instruments design, data collection, analysis and report writing. Knowledge and experience in quantitative and qualitative research methods and grant proposal preparation is preferred. Must demonstrate ability to prioritize multiple projects, work independently and within a team; have strong verbal and written communication skills. Must demonstrate proficient use of electronic communication, particularly Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook. SPSS experience is helpful.
