Operations Research Systems Analyst (ORSA), Joint Special Operations Command, Fort Bragg, NC
Responsibilities: Perform thorough and comprehensive studies, process mapping, systems analysis, and access/work complex databases that consist of structured, semi structured and unstructured data. Provide JSOC J9 with the ability to conduct side-by-side and multi-system comparison, cost modeling and cost effectiveness analysis. Serve to enhance the J9 Knowledge Management Team's capability to forumulate overall scope, establish objectives, formulate methodologies, and coordinate fusion of data science, data architecture, data visualization, and data enrichment.
EDUCATION: BS degree required with a MS degree highly desired in Operations Research, Math Statistics, System or Industrial Engineering.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Requires: At least two years of experience working as an ORSA demonstrating the ability to conduct independent, advanced research and analysis dealing with complex, multi-faceted analytical issues. Desired: Experience working with SOF, interagency working groups, national agencies, DOD agencies, combatant commands or academic organizations.
Contractor will work 80% from home station and 20% deployed.
