Primary Health Services is seeking a talented leader/manager with a broad range of professional skills to oversee and manage the Sacramento County Health Center. Some of the responsibilities are outlined below:
Oversee and manage operations of a County Health Center that has designation as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).
Works in partnership with multiple UC Davis departments as a teaching site for residents and learners.
Works collaboratively with staff and numerous partners, funders, and contractors.
Monitors and enhances quality and access for Health Center enrollees.
Plans, organizes, coordinates, evaluates, and improves complex programs designed to serve vulnerable populations.
Directs, manages and supervises activities of health care staff through managers/supervisors.
Represents the Health Center in internal and external meetings.
Consults, negotiates and monitors contracts.
Assists with preparation and monitoring the program budget which includes revenue and expenditure tracking and reporting.
Develops, implements and evaluates Health Center policies and procedures.
Monitors compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations.
Identifies and solves problems systemically.

The Sacramento County Health Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center that provides culturally competent comprehensive primary and preventative care including behavioral health services to low income adult residents of Sacramento. Services onsite at the Primary Care Center include: primary care, behavioral health services, limited specialty, pharmacy, radiology, and Quest. Healthcare Coverage types: Medi-Cal, Healthy Partners, or uninsured with a medical need.
