Mayvin® is currently seeking experienced energetic self-starters responsible for activities in the organization's contracts administration function. Interprets the conditions and terms of contracts including fiscal and legal implications and advises management on all significant procedures and regulations affecting the contract. Understanding and application of government contract administration principles, concepts, practices, and standards. Responsible for maintenance of compliance with all federal regulations as they pertain to the corporations’ Government Contracts and Subcontracts. Uses knowledge of FAR, of specific contracts, and of other Government contracting regulations to inform decisions on contract execution compliance. Responsible for administering TA’s and NDA’s with all subcontractors as well as engaging the project teams and corporate office for properly recording and tracking contractual execution. Participates in the negotiation of contract terms and assessment of contract proposals. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Reports to CFO/COO.
Responsible for ensuring the corporations’ policies, procedures, and compliance with federal regulations are met and project leaders are executing per the guidelines of each specific contract.
Administering Prime Contracts, Subcontracts, Teaming Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Contractor Purchasing System (CPSR), ISO-related compliance documentation
Engaging with project leaders, site leads, and back office functions for properly recording and tracking the firm’s and subcontractor support on the organization’s projects
Monitors internal progress of contracts with project leads/office functionals to ensure fulfillment of contract requirements.
Monitors and reviews for completeness, accuracy and conformance with Federal and Defense procurement regulations and company procedural requirements.
Prepares internal reports for management and periodic reports to customer contracting officers/buyers as required.
Ensures that Prime Vehicle and Solicitation flow-downs are included in RFPs/Awards for subcontracts
Offers guidance on and follows company’s policies and procedures.
Interface with Pricing, Accounting, and Project Senior Management as needed to assess and identify needs. Seek guidance from Management and Senior Professional staff as needed
Demonstrate creative problem-solving abilities and effectively manage workload and meet internal/external customer expectations.
Assists in developing policies, procedures and practices relating to contract administration.
May provide input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility to includes budgets and business systems development.
Participation in the Bid and Proposal processes will be required – RFP review, coordination and collection and finalization of proposal documents.
Other duties as assigned are business administration functions to include licensing, responding to audits, and vendor interaction.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution highly desired.
3+ years of corporate Government Contracting experience.
Working knowledge of FAR and CPSR requirements.
Strong Interpersonal skills. Detail oriented and the ability to multi-task.
Excellent written and oral communications, computer skills, and some mathematical skills. working with excel documents and figures. Strong abilities in Microsoft Office Suite. applications to include Outlook Email, Word, and Excel.
