This position assists and reports to the Director of Contracts and is responsible for pre and post-award contract formation and administration for prime and sub contracts. Primary duties include:
a) Drafting terms and conditions of agreements including non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, and subcontracts b) Perform contract administration including monitoring contract compliance, maintaining contract files (electronic and hard-copy), and managing general contract correspondence accounts c) Assisting in the review, analysis and negotiation of contract and subcontract terms and conditions, preparing resultant modifications e) Responding to customer (Govt and non-Govt) requests for contract related information and data, communicating with government and prime contractor contract specialists f) Review and analysis of government issued pre solicitation notices, draft and final solicitations to identify compliance matters specific to contracting requirements and procedures using FAR and Federal Agency FAR supplements
Candidate should possess at least 4 years of experience in federal contracting to include either government service in the GS 1102 occupation series or similar corporate experience in a government office or contractor office.
Experience with both federal and private contractor processes as a contact specialist or contract/subcontract administrator is required.
Candidate must have strong familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation and be willing to learn, seek training and independently pursue proficiency in the contracting profession.
Candidate must be proficient with the standard MS Office tools, Deltek CostPoint and other similar tools, and have excellent written and verbal skills along with the ability to work productively with others, communicate effectively with customers, company personnel and partner firms.
Candidate must be a self-starter, highly organized and able to work independently and within teams. Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Candidate must be eligible for a Secret clearance.
