We are seeking a Contracts Administrator to join our team in our Fairfax, VA location.
About this Position:
Responsible for corporate contract and subcontract administration for Commercial and Federal Agency contracts.
Supports lifecycle contract and subcontract administration from pre-solicitation through post-award.
Works with various contract types, including but not limited to: Standard, IDIQ, T&M, CPFF and FFP.
Serves as a point of contact with teaming partners and government officials for contract related correspondence.
Negotiates agreements including, but not limited to, Subcontractor, Software License, and Reseller Agreements.
Works with purchasing / technical personnel and provides input and advice in regard to contractual rights and obligations, as well as clarification of contract terms and conditions.
Aids in proposal development to respond to RFP/RFQs.
Assist with price and cost analysis, resulting from negotiation of price/cost and price/cost-related terms.
Responsible for supporting project set-up and maintaining contractual documentation in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Reviews and coordinates the submission of contract deliverables per contractual requirements.
Assists with contract compliance and supports resolution of contract issues.
Assists in contract and subcontract closeout activities.
Organizes and maintains contractual records and internal databases in accordance with established procedures.
Performs special administrative projects as needed.
Education/Certification: BA/BS or equivalent additional related work experience required.
Minimum Experience: 3-6 years of progressively responsible corporate contract/ subcontract administration experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work effectively, independently and as a team, ensuring timely completion of assignments and meeting established quality standards.
Superior interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact in a professional manner with senior level managers and teammates during periods of high stress and tight deadlines.
Strong computer skills using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Access.
Working knowledge of FAR, DFAR and related regulations.
Strong organization skills, to include attention to detail and accuracy.
Candidate must be able to productively interact with internal and external customers to identify and solve problems; identify and mitigate risk and coordinate solutions with management.
The successful candidate must be capable of receiving a US Government security clearance. US Citizenship Required.
