The primary focus of this position will be providing technology leadership for OptumServe and LHI (federal contractors doing business with the U.S. Government). This includes the development of a multi-year strategic IT plan that optimizes the business and IT priorities, the integration of technologies required to enable OptumServe business units to reach their respective operating objectives, and ensure technologies enabling the capabilities needed by their customers at the price point needed to win contracts. Successful candidate will partner with OptumServe leadership in setting overall technology direction and thought leadership, leading the IT development and operational execution at LHI, leveraging the best practices within Optum Technology, and coordinating with an integrated cross-functional technology team including product owners, program managers, and IT operators. In this role the CIO will coordinate, communicate, and monitor IT Product development and technical operations for the OptumServe lines of business. They will also participate in meetings with the leadership, customers and IT leadership as they identify trends and assess emerging technology that best aligns to both IT and client strategies. This role also engages with the product team to ensure a complete understanding of the customers' needs to deliver products from concept to proposal, to implement and run within contracted KPIs. Successful completion of the NACLC process is a requirement for continued employment in this role. NACLC processing will be initiated by our TRICARE Security Officer post-offer, and can take 3-6 months for a final decision communication from the Department of Defense.
