The Contracts Specialist will be responsible for:
Overseeing all phases of new and existing programs, including review of terms and conditions, proposal submittal, price and contract negotiations, contract award and fulfillment of program requirements.
Conducting research that is tied to marketing programs.
Developing and writing professional and concise technical proposals based on solicitation requirements.
Providing upper management with information and proposals concerning the promotion, distribution, design, and pricing of company products or services.
New product development and critical innovation projects as well as strategic initiatives.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications for the Contracts Specialist
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, English, Communication or similar discipline.
Minimum 3 years’ experience with contract review and technical writing.
Experience administrating government contracts and proposals.
Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
Excellent computer skills and a mastery of Microsoft Office programs. Familiarity with Oracle preferred.
Must have great customer service and organizational skills.
