Our client, Guardiar, part of the Præsidiad Group, is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic candidate to fill the position of Director, Global Supply Chain. This position is based in the Fort Lauderdale, Florida area.
Præsidiad is a world market leader specializing in the security, defense, and protection of people and assets around the world. With more than 135 years’ experience, Præsidiad’s three globally-renowned perimeter security specialist brands inspire confidence across markets and applications:
Guardiar is a total perimeter security solutions provider that designs and engineers turnkey security solutions for critical infrastructure and high-risk sites. Guardiar creates complete perimeter protection through the application and integration of perimeter security solutions and services that effectively mitigate threats.
Betafence is a leading manufacturer of innovative fencing solutions and industrial mesh for industrial, commercial, and residential markets
Hesco is an innovator in the design and manufacture of barriers and protective solutions in government, military, federal, and environmental applications
The recently launched Guardiar brand has its origins in what was formerly the Betafence high-security projects business unit. As the projects unit grew and took on larger and more complex projects, its scope of products, solutions, and services developed. Projects were no longer focused on only fencing systems, but involved total perimeter security solutions – beyond the physical perimeter to access control, perimeter intrusion detection systems, radar, and CCTV.
Through its global experience working in diverse industries, and with various third-party manufacturers and contractors, the projects business also identified a niche market opportunity: the need for a total perimeter security solutions provider that develops complete perimeter protection solutions to mitigate security threats in high-risk areas.
The new Guardiar brand not only empowers this unit to differentiate itself from Betafence (and any potentially restrictive connotations that this name may have), but to also develop its unique value proposition in the fragmented security landscape.
