The Director oversees all aspects of UMBC’s on-site operation at The Universities at Shady Grove within the Division of Professional Studies (DPS). Specific duties include planning, organizing, staffing, and controlling all administrative aspects of the DPS undergraduate partnership programs onsite at Shady Grove and partnering with the Director of Professional Programs on the administrative oversite for the DPS professional studies partnership programs, including working with partners to optimize existing program and launching new programs. Functional areas of responsibility include: faculty relations, student relations, financial management, marketing, recruiting, program-related technology management and enrollment management. Supervisory duties include overseeing program coordinators, assistant director(s), and graduate assistant(s). This position involves frequent communication and strategic coordination with the Office of the Vice Provost, department chairs, academic program directors, leadership within DPS and the leadership at USG.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a Master's degree and a minimum of five years of higher education experience.
Experience serving multiple academic programs preferably at an off-site or branch campus location.
Experience in undergraduate admissions, advising, transfer support;
