The Institute for Sustainable Energy (ISE) at Boston University is hiring an Administrative Assistant. A majority of the position is devoted to providing logistical and administrative support to ISEs Carbon Free Boston (CFB) initiative and the rest of this role is devoted to general institute-wide logistical and administrative support, reporting to ISEs Director of Outreach. CFB supports the City of Bostons greenhouse gas mitigation goals via the development of policy-driven 2020 and 2050 emission reduction strategies for inclusion in the Citys 2017 Climate Action Plan Update. As the technical lead for the Citys climate policy analysis, ISE oversees the development of quantitative models of policies and technologies to mitigate GHG emissions in the transportation, electric power, buildings, and waste sectors for the City, and communicate the results of those models to the City and its stakeholders.

This is a half-time, one-year position, with possible extension.
Bachelors degree required; strong interpersonal skills; good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks; ability to communicate clearly, professionally and in a timely manner; ability to work independently; excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; 3-5 years of applicable experience.
