Responsibilities include: Assisting the Head Athletic Trainer with practice coverage, contest coverage, strength and conditioning of student-athletes, general training room services, and travel to cover away contests. The Assistant Athletic Trainer will also assist with the purchase of materials and supplies and other administrative duties as assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree; NATA certification, must be licensed or eligible for licensing in New York; Current first aid and CPR for the Professional Rescuer with AED certification required within one month of appointment. A valid Driver License and the ability and willingness to travel and perform evening and weekend work are also required.
Preferred Qualifications: National Strength and Conditioning Certification preferred.
