This is a remote position with incumbent residing in India and willing to telecommute to UC Irvine.Under the general direction of the Director of International Admissions, this position is responsible for recruiting qualified non-resident international students from India and additional territories as necessary for UCI Undergraduate Admissions. Responsible for further developing and cultivating relationships with appropriate identified network of high schools and government offices, and initiating and implementing all local recruitment efforts with in the designated markets.In conjunction with the Director of International Admissions develops a strategic recruitment and yield plan that includes applicant, admit and enrollment goals, and budget planning.Identify high schools that match target market objectives and arrange visits to build relationships with academic and college counselors to directly or indirectly recruit prospective students.Establish connection with educational advising and information centers affiliated within the US Department of State, EducationUSA, the Fulbright Commission, US Commercial Services, and other related offices abroad.Participate in international student recruitment fairs and tours, serve as UCI representative in designated non-resident markets.Ensure appropriate follow up with prospective students recruited at various events.Hold regular information sessions and publicly present throughout India and other designated markets at venues that have been vetted for appropriateness.Prepare and produce targeted recruitment materials and contribute to development and implementation of a recruitment, yield and summer pre-enrollment communications plan in collaboration with the Director of International Admissions and the UGA communications team.Offer advise and guidance to international students, and their families, school counselors and directors during the application and admissions processes.Identify and analyze trends related to Indian student mobility and mobility of students in identified designated regions.Serve as key UCI liaison in India and other identified markets' alumni network for work related to undergraduate student recruitment and yield.Develop and establish vendor relations in India for materials design, printing, distribution, and media segment channels and providers.The University of California, Irvine is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer advancing inclusive excellence.
