LOOKING FOR: A self-driven, senior level engineer with the ability to obtain a secret clearance to join our AMERICAN SYSTEMS Systems and Simulations team as a Human Factors Engineer in Washington, DC. Candidate will support the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Ship Design Team (SDT).
As a Human Factors Engineer you will:
Work within the Systems and Simulations Division to provide on-site support to the USCG

A week in the life of a Human Factors Engineer:
Provide support to the Ship Design team at USCG headquarters.
Work on the design team responsible for the review and verification of multiple ship designs for the Department of Homeland Security.
Provide technical expertise to the USCG.
Advise ship designs of future vessels.

Bachelor's Degree in Human Factors Engineering or related field
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
10+ years of experience in:
Relevant experience in human factors engineering
5+ years of experience in:
Applying Human System Integration (HSI) in a system design environment
3+ years of engineering experience in:
Working with Marine systems
0 - 10%
Ability to obtain a secret level clearance
Additional Salary Information: Salary is based off of experience
