This role is being recruited for Strategic Vendor Partnership team. Our vision is to be a strategic partner to business to provide guidance and support the outsourcing transformation aligned with business objectives, establish and maintain enterprise level strategic suppliers relationship and Institutionalize robust governance to assure best quality professional services. You will be instrumental in driving the key initiatives along with the relationship manager to implement the same cross functionally in the BNY Mellon organization.
Catalyst for preferred vendor strategy and accountable for preferred vendor program and managing relationship with preferred vendors
Help drive third party spend optimization and meet saves target
Drive outsourcing and third party spend strategy for the lines of businesses
Establish and Drive outsourcing and engagement maturity plan across lines of businesses
Perform data and value insights for existing third party spend and landscape and identify outsourcing spend transformation & optimization opportunities
Act as a trusted advisor to the LoB to manage and optimize their professional services third party spend
Enhance ROI for third party spend
Hands on experience on Outsourcing strategy, preferred vendor program management, outsourcing transformation across temp labor and IT/Business consulting engagements
Assist LoB in Insourcing / Outsourcing decision, finalize workforce and staffing plan and decide on engagement and pricing model
Perform demand due diligence
Enhance outsourced engagement maturity by transforming the engagement & pricing model (Managed services and outcome based pricing) and establish continuous improvement processes
Ontime contract execution and Governance of end to end vendor / contract management process
Contract Management Process streamlining, automation across vendor management processes
Contractor workforce data and tools strategy
Work with GSCM to standardize SoWs, Contract standards and establish and manager SLA and penalty framework
Partner with LoB EMs to manage Risk, Issues and escalation for outsourced engagements
Ensure good quality contract and contractor data management via Beeline
Operational risks, issues and escalation management
Establish & manage integrated operation governance and performance
Responsible for driving technology capability assessment framework across LoBs
Escalation with cross functional teams like third party governance and sourcing for contracts which are stuck beyond threshold
Support Third party audit supporting's for preferred vendors
Facilitate engagement manager trainings
Able to produce and delivery high quality leadership presentations
Liaises between Technology and multiple business units to support their highly complex technology needs. Leads and provides innovative direction and guidance for a wide array of activities supporting the Technology contracting processes and procedures. Develops strategic client relationships within the business unit to ensure client satisfaction with complex changes and the development of efficient business systems. Represents user area to Technology departments in highly complex system enhancements and design activities to ensure changes take into account business needs. Responsible for negotiating, extending, terminating, and renegotiating of medium-sized contraTechnology for acquisition of equipment, materials, produTechnology, or services. Leads the evaluation and monitoring of processes and tools for different types of contraTechnology, risk assessment, dispute and issue resolution through continual review of existing policies and procedures. Contributes to the achievement of area objectives. Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree is beneficial 10-12 years of related experience required, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
Qualifications
10+ years of relevant experience in vendor management, resource and location strategy, preferred vendor program
Experience working for BFSI - Banking, Finance and Insurance sector is preferable
Strong communication and relationship, stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently under pressure
Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint is must
Knowledge of Power BI will be an added advantage
Should be flexible to stretch and support the team on adhoc activities as required
Self-motivated learner with an eye to detail
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree is beneficial 10-12 years of related experience required, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
Graduation in engineering, commerce/finance background is preferrable
Postgraduate in supply change, procurement or relevant specialization is preferrable
